On Friday, Jan. 12, girls’ varsity, junior varsity, and freshman teams played Garden City at an away game to kick off second semester.
Each of the teams won their games, with varsity winning 57-26, JV winning 48-6 and freshman winning 45-11.
“We were happy to get to play after a very long break due to the holidays,” coach Len Melvin said. “Our girls started slow, but really got it going. I am very proud of their effort and execution at all three levels. I thought so many of the girls played well, too many to mention a name or two. We were really effective offensively, which allows you to experience success.”
