Girls soccer plays against rival team

To open the season, on Thursday, March 23, the lady Indian soccer team mercy-ruled league rival Great Bend, 10-0.

Senior Katie Dinkel scored one goal, junior Arely Maldonado scored one, sophomore Danielle Willeford scored two, freshman Annie Humphrey scored four and freshman Kinsley Knewll scored two.

Then, in the second game of the season, the girls won, 9-1, against Augusta on Monday, March 27.

Maldonado scored three goals, Willeford scored two, freshman Sienna Lummus scored one, Humphrey scored two and Knewll scored one.
