Lady Indian softball beats Dodge City
On April 5, the lady Indian softball team faced Dodge City for the first of a three-game series and won 4-1.
After Dodge City was able to score one run in the top of the second, junior Morgen Berry hit a two-run homerun to put the Indians up 2-1.
Freshman Riley Dreher added a two-run RBI double, which scored the final two runs of the game.
Sophomore Aubree Thomas pitched the entirety of the game, with 11 strikeouts and one walk.
The team is now 2-3 on the season and 2-1 in the Western Athletic Conference and will travel to Dodge City on April 7 for the other two games.
