Hays High’s boys varsity golf team competed at in a tournament at Turkey Creek Golf Course in McPherson on April 9, playing 18 holes on a par 70 course.

Senior Jason Krannawitter and sophomore Braden Hoskins both shot a 78 and tied for fifth. Senior Weston Hoskins took 28th with a 91, senior Skylar Zimmerman tied for 44th with a 104, junior Ashton Hernandez placed 51st with a score of 113 and sophomore Blake Buckles finished 53rd with a 116.

The team took fourth overall with 351 points.

The next varsity tournament will be at Newton on April 15.
