Lady Indians fall to Dodge City Red Demons on the road

On Feb. 23, the lady Indians traveled to Dodge City to take on the Red Demons and lost 42-24.

The Red Demons started off the first quarter with an 8-0 run, which would put them ahead 11-4 going into the second quarter.

The score going into halftime was 15-12 in favor of the Red Demons, and the Indians never led again.

In the third quarter, the Indians tried to minimize the scoring deficit, but the Red Demons were able to go on a 9-0 run and widen the gap.

Throughout the fourth quarter, the Indians were never able to make a comeback and ended up losing, 42-24.

The lady Indians have a record of 6-13 on the season and fell to 1-6 in Western Athletic Conference play.

The Indians will host the Great Bend Panthers on Feb. 26 at home. These are the last games of the conference season and will also double as Senior night for the Indians.
