Lady Indians fall to Colby Eagles
The lady Indians traveled to Colby for the second time this season on Feb. 12 and lost 42-31 to the Colby Eagles.
The first half belonged to the Indians, as they led by 11 points halfway through the second quarter and had the lead going into the locker room at halftime.
They were able to continue to build their lead throughout the beginning of the third quarter, but the Eagles gained momentum and took the lead away from the Indians midway through the third quarter.
The Eagles started scoring, and the Indians could not keep up, which led to the Indians losing, 42-31.
The lady Indians are now 4-11 on the year and will hope to better their record on Feb. 16 when they travel to Abilene to take on the Cowgirls.
