Girls varsity tennis places fifth at Dodge City
Seniors Emmy Morely and Mylah potter played #2 doubles and placed fifth.
Girls varsity tennis competed in Dodge City on Tuesday Sept. 16.
Hays placed fifth overall with 12 points. Garden City came in first with a total of 29 points.
The results are as follows:
Playing #1 singles, senior McKena McBride placed fifth with a score of 1-3. McBride’s scores were 1-6, 4-6, 2-6 and 6-4.
Playing #2 singles, sophomore Katrina Delimont placed fifth with a score of 2-2. Delimont’s scores were 1-6, 4-6, 6-3 and 6-4.
Playing #1 doubles, seniors Taylor Deines and Ginny Ke placed fifth with a score of 2-2. Deines’ and Ke’s scores were 3-6, 6-1, 4-6 and 6-3.
Playing #2 doubles, seniors Emmy Morely and Mylah Potter placed fifth with a score of 3-1. Morely’s and Potter’s scores were 3-6, 6-3, 6-5 and 6-3.
