Junior TJ Nunnery goes up for a layup during the home game against Abilene on Feb. 18.

On March 3, the Indians hosted the Arkansas City Bulldogs for the first game of the sub-state tournament and won 42-26.

The game started off with a 9-0 run by the Bulldogs, and the Indians were down 10 with about a minute left in the first quarter.

Halfway through the second quarter is when the Indians started their comeback. An 8-0 run that started just before halftime gave the Indians the motivation that they needed.

The start of the third quarter brought a 9-0 run for the Indians, and they only allowed the Bulldogs three points through the duration of the third quarter.

A 12-point lead through the fourth quarter gave the Indians some breathing room and allowed them to close the game out.

Junior Dalyn Schwarz lead his team with a double-double, with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

The Indians move to 15-6 on the season and will play Great Bend on March 6.
