On Feb. 7, the Indian basketball team traveled to Dodge City to take on the Red Demons and won 69-48.

The first quarter the lead changed hands many times, but the Indians held on to the lead for the rest of the game after that quarter.

The Indians went into halftime leading 30-23 and used a 13-5 run to open the second half of the game.

They had the lead by 15 going into the fourth quarter and broke their three-game losing streak.

Junior Dalyn Schwarz tied a career high of 19 points, senior Dylan Ruder had 16 and sophomore Jace Linenberger had 10.

The Indians move to 9-5 on the season and 4-0 in the Western Athletic Conference. They will play at Great Bend on Feb. 11.
