The Indians traveled to Salina on Jan. 31 to take on the Salina Central Mustangs and lost 54-33.

The Mustangs had a 17-5 run in the first quarter to build a lead that the Indians could never make up, but the Indians did have the lead three times in the first quarter.

Two majors scoring droughts are what hurt the Indians the most, including a 7:45 drought, which led to the Indians falling behind by 17.

In the final 5:10 of the game, the Indians had no points, while the Mustangs scored 10.The Indians are now 8-4 on the season and will play at home on Feb. 4 against Salina South.
