Lady Indians take 60-29 victory over rival Great Bend on Feb. 5

Senior Jaycee Dale attempts a basket at previous game against Great Bend. The Indians are now 12-4 and will play Liberal at home on Feb. 8.

The Lady Indians took an easy 60-29 victory over rival, the Great Bend Panthers at home on Feb. 5.

In the first quarter, the Indians took an early lead over the Panthers going 18-8. At half-time the score was 38-17.

The Indians would continue their lead after the first half making the score 50-23 in the third quarter and would continue to make the final score 60-29.

Senior Savannah Schneider led the scoring totals with 16 points, and senior Jaycee Dale and junior Brooke Denning followed close behind with 13 and 11 points, respectively.

Senior Kallie Leiker scored eight points and Tasiah Nunnery scored six points. Rounding out the scoring was junior Isabel Robben and  freshmen Ashlynn Flax and Taleia McCrae all scored two.

The team is now 12-4 and will play Liberal at home on Feb. 8.
