Boys swim team takes last in Manhattan
The Boys swim team’s final meet before WAC was in Manhattan on Feb. 2. This larger meet saw 16 teams competing.
The teams in attendance were: Manhattan, McPherson, Salina South, Salina Central, Garden City, Great Bend, Campus, Newton, Topeka, De Soto, Derby, Emporia, Junction City, Washburn Rural, Topeka-Seaman and Hays.
“The competition at this meet was tough, like Manhattan and McPherson who took first and second respectively,” head coach Faith Schiendler.
Hays tied Topeka-Seaman for last place with five points.
WAC will be Feb.7 in Hays at the Center for Health Improvement.
