Lady Indians improve 3-2 record after win against Pratt Greenbacks Dec. 18

Seniors Kallie Leiker and Mattie Hutchinson guard a Pratt player. The team won 49-40 to improve its record to 3-2.

Senior Savannah Schneider threw in 13 points and senior Jaycee Dale added 10 to lead the girls basketball team to a 49-40 win over Pratt.

With the victory, the Indians improved to 3-2 headed into the holiday break.

The Indians jumped out to a 12-9 first quarter lead and stretched to a 24-19 lead at the break. After the intermission, the Indians put together a 25-21 run in the final two quarters to secure a nine-point win.

Adding to the final tally was junior Tasiah Nunnery with eight points, while senior Mattie Hutchinson added seven. Other scorers were junior Isabel Robben with five and junior Brooke Denning and sophomore Brooklyn Schaffer with three points apiece.

Dale and Nunnery both pulled down six rebounds, while senior Kallie Leiker dished out three assists.
