Girls tennis wraps up the season
As the tennis girls continued the season, the team headed down to Garden City on Oct 1, the girls prepared themselves to go compete in WAC. With WAC results, the girls have a chance to qualify for Regionals and the State. WAC results are as followed:
Team- 1st with a 9-7 score
In #1 Singles, Kaleigh Ashbaugh placed 3rd with a 2-2 score.
In #2 Singles, Lynsie Hansen placed 4th with a 1-3 score.
In #1 Doubles, Brianna Forinash and Cori Isbell placed 3rd with a 2-2 score.
In #2 Doubles, Macey Speier and Trinity Quint placed 1st with a 4-0 score.
The girl’s results qualified the team for regionals. Unfortunately the girls wrapped up the season during regionals, nobody qualified for state.
“We had a good season,” senior Cori Isbell said, “we all worked hard and gave it our best.”
