The cross country team departed to Salina Saturday morning on Oct. 6.

The girls had two runners place in the top 20, freshman Landri Dotts, 10th, and junior Yesenia Maldonado, 19th.

Others who competed were sophomore Allision Shubert, 26th, sophomore Claire Shippy, 29th, freshman Lainey Hardman, 31st, sophomore Cristina Leos, 42nd and senior Ady Albers, 52nd. The Lady Indians placed fourth as a team with 106 points, missing third place by two points.

The boys finished in 11th place with 243 points.

Senior Johnny Fuller lead the team with a 36th, place finish followed by junior Grant Brungardt, 41st.

Others who competed where freshman Brayden Hines, 42nd, junior Nathan Erbert, 60th, freshman Landon Viegra, 64th, freshman Chris Isbell, 71st, and junior Conner Cunningham, 72nd.
