Lady golf took second as a team at their Aug. 27 9 hole home tournament with two top ten finishes.

Senior Brittani Park placed fifth with a score of 52, Sophomore Sophia Garrison placed seventh with a 53, Seniors Emily George and Emily McGuire were the third and fourth scores both with a 56 giving the team a composite score of 217. Fifth and sixth score were both 59 by senior Molly Eikenberry and freshman Taleia McCrae.

Seniors Hannah Harman and Alex Hagerman shot a 66 and 69 respectively as the JV players.

Sophomore Sophia Garrison commented on how she thought the first tournament of the season went. “I really enjoyed the support of all the JV people. The only thing I think could have improved was the playing speed but other than that i thought it went really well.”

The lady Indians will travel to Dodge City on Sept 6.
