Indian softball sweeps at home against Sacred Heart and TMP

The Indian softball team took a couple of wins at home against Salina Sacred Heart and TMP. They beat Sacred Heart 4-3 and TMP 2-1.

In the first game the Indians scored two in the first inning, one in the fifth and one in the eighth. Sacred Heart scored only scored in the fifth inning which was three.

The Indians had a total of ten hits and four errors, and Sacred Heart had four hits and no errors.

Junior Kaitlyn Brown pitched for the first game and had no errors, four walks and six strikeouts.

In the second the Indians scored two in the third while TMP went scoreless until the seventh inning where they scored one.

The Indians ended the game with four hits and one error and TMP had five hits and one error.

Jaysa Wichers a junior was on the mound for the second game and she had one error and five strikeouts.

The Indians are 7-9 and their next action will be May 1 at Liberal.
