Lady Indians softball take losses at Garden City
The Indian softball team traveled to Garden City to play in a double header against the Buffalos. Where they dropped the first game 8-1 and the second game 5-1.
In the first game the Indians the only scored in the seventh inning while the Buffs scored one in the second, two in the third, and five in the sixth.
The Indians had a one hit and four errors at the end of the game, while the Buffs had 11 hits and no errors.
Junior Kaitlyn Brown was on the mound for the Indians in the first game, and she had seven errors, two walks and six strike outs.
For the second game the Indians scored one in the fourth and allowed the Buffs to score one in the first, second, third, fifth and sixth inning.
The Indians ended the game with five hits and three errors and the Buffs had five hits as well but, only had one error.
Jaysa Wichers a junior was pitching the second game and had three errors, three walks and six strike outs.
The Indians are 5-9 on the season and will play on April 25 at home.
