Indian softball drop two at Great Bend

The Indian softball team travel to Great Bend on April 20, where they dropped two games. The first one ended 3-2 and the second game was 7-6.

In the first game the Indians only scored in the sixth inning which was two. While the Panthers, scored in one in the first, one in the second, and one in the third.

The Indians ended the game with six hits and four errors, and the Panthers had six hits and one error.

Junior Kaitlyn Brown, pitched for the Lady Indians in the first game and she had one error, two walks and six strike outs.

The second game the Indians jumped out and scored two in the first, one in the third, and three in the fifth.

At the end of the game, the Indians had nine hits with a solo homerun from Jaysa Wichers they Indians also had five errors while the Panthers had 10 hits and four errors.

Wichers was on the mound for the second game and had six errors, one walk and seven strikeouts.

The Indians are 5-7 on the season and will play on April 24 at Garden City.
