Indian baseball splits doubleheader against Dodge City
The Indian baseball team won the first game and lost the second game of their doubleheader against Dodge City on April 28.
In the first game, runs were scored by seniors Jace Armstrong and Tyrone Wynn, junior Dawson Harman and sophomore Cody Petersen. The final score on the game was 4-3. Winning pitcher on the game was sophomore Palmer Hutchison.
The final score of the second game was 13-4, in favor of the Dodge City Red Demons. Scored runs for the Indians were made by senior Grant Coffman, juniors Cole Murphy and Dawson Harman, and sophomore Palmer Hutchison.
The Indians will next play at home, May 4-6 at the Western Diamond Classic.
