Indian baseball splits doubleheader against Kapaun Mt. Carmel
The Indian baseball team split a doubleheader against the Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders on April 7, moving their record to 3-1 on the season. The Indians started off the doubleheader by winning the first game 5-2, but fell to the Crusaders in the second game 4-7.
In the first game senior Tyrone Wynn scored three runs and senior Jace Armstrong and sophomore William Sennett each scored one run.
During the second game Armstrong, Wynn, junior Dawson Harmon and sophomore Cody Petersen all scored one run.
Sophomore Treyton Riggs led the team in RBIs in both games, having hit two in each.
The team’s next game will be against Great Bend on April 10.
