The girls golf team took second place as a team on Oct. 6 at the Great Bend Invitational.

First place at the meet went to Garden City with a team score of 191. Hays followed closely behind with 193 points to earn second place. Other team scores were Liberal 195, Great Bend 198 and Dodge City with 212.

In individual standings senior Katie Brungardt earned the first place medal with a score of 39 on the par 36 course. Third place medal went to senior Talyn Kleweno who scored 43. Other indivudal scores include sophomore Emily McGuire with 55 points and a 10th place finish, sophomore Emily George 56, sophomore Brittani Park 63 and senior Breanna Park 65.
