Girls golf takes ninth at Hutchinson Invitational; Sept. 29
The girls golf team placed ninth at the Hutchinson Invitational on Sept. 29.
In team scores, Manhattan scored 338 to take first place, Garden City took second with 354, followed closely by Maize and Great Bend with a tied score of 358, they took third and fourth respectively.
Other team scores were Hutchinson 362, Goddard-Eisenhower 365, Maize South 366, Winfield 368, Hays 371, Derby 373, Dodge City 395, Newton 415, Salina South 422 and Buhler 448.
Individually, senior Katie Brungardt scored 83, senior Talyn Kleweno had 90, Emily McGuire got a score of 98, and Emily George scored 100. Other scored include Breanna Park 105 and Brittani Park 111.
The teams next action will be the TMP Invitational on Oct. 3.
