Boys basketball defeats Garden City; 74-50
The boys’ basketball team defeated Garden City on Feb. 19.
The Indians began their lead in the first half, pulling ahead to make the half time score 34-29. Continuing their lead, the Indians scored 24 more points in the second half, which made the final score 74-50.
Leading the team in points was Isaiah Nunnery with 20 points. Also in the double digits in points were Drew Young with 16 points and Shane Berens with 14 points. Rounding out the scoring was Ethan Nunnery with 6, Laken Jacobs with 5, Dylan Davis and Keith Dryden with 4 points each, Maddux Winter with 3, and Marcus Altman with 2 points..
The Indians will next play Dodge City on Feb. 23.
