Boys basketball defeats Garden City; 48-34
The boys’ basketball team defeated Garden City on Jan. 15.
The Indians began their lead in the first half, pulling ahead to make the half time score 25-14. Continuing their lead, the Indians scored 23 more points in the second half, which made the final score 48-34.
Leading the team in points was both Isaiah Nunnery and Shane Berens, each with 16 points. Rounding out the scoring was Drew Young and Laken Jacobs, both with five points, Keith Dryden with four, and Maddux Winter with two.
The Indians will next play at the Tournament of Champions in Dodge City. The tournament begins on Jan. 21.
