The girl’s varsity tennis team went to the WAC tournament in Great Bend on Oct. 6

Other teams there were Liberal, Garden City, Dodge City and Great Bend.

Playing number one singles was senior Brooke Forinash. Forinash took second place with a 3-1 mark.

Sophomore Sarah Wyse played number two singles and took third place going 2-2. winning by a large margin.

The number one doubles team of senior Sylina Zhang and junior Joslyn Dinkle played several close matches, but was unable to secure a win.

The number two doubles team consisted of sophomore Gabby Taliaferro and freshman Brianna Forinash. They took second place with a 3-1 mark.
