The girls’ tennis team played at their home meet on Sept. 3 competing against Victoria, Russell and Newton.

The team came in second place overall out of four teams.

Junior Brooke Forinash played number one singles and went 2-2 and secured third place.

Playing number two singles was sophomore Sarah Wyse. She got a mark of 3-1 and came in second place.

The number one doubles team consisted of senior Fengxue (Sylina) Zhang and junior Joselyn Dinkel. They posted a 2-1 mark and secured second place.

The number two doubles team of freshman Brianna Forinash and sophomore Gabriela Taliaferro also made a 3-0 mark and came in first place overall.
