Boys basketball defeats Colby, 79-27
The boys basketball team had little difficulty taking its fourth win of the year and defeating Colby, 79-27, on Dec. 11.
The Indians now have a 4-1 record on the year heading into their final game before Christmas break against Junction City.
Already leading 21-6 by the end of the first quarter, the Indians outscored the Eagles by a 47-12 margin over the next two quarters to take a commanding 68-18 advantage into the final period.
Keith Dryden had 26 points, three assists and had four steals. Isaiah Nunnery and Brady Werth were also in double figures with 11 points each.
Maddux Winter and Cash Hobson added six points each, while Laken Jacobs and Drew Young both contributed four. Zach Hopp and Xander Swayne each had three points, and Shane Berens had two. Rounding out the scoring was Bryce Ficken with one point.
