The boys cross country team also took third at regionals on Oct. 25 and will also be headed to state. They were in a pool of 15 teams and finished with 97 points.

Ahead of the Indians were Clay Center with 49 points and Hugoton with 62.

Sophomore Ethan Shippy took 11^th with a time of 17:41. He was followed by freshman Allen Zollinger and sophomore Zachary Hopp in 17^th and 19^th places with times of 17:49 and 17:55 respectively. In 24^th with a time of 18:05 was sophomore Caden Cunningham. Taking 26^th was senior Dylan Schmitt with a time of 18:07. Sophomore Alex Tinkel and Hunter Olsen wrap up the scores in 39^th and 75^th places with times of 18:47 and 20:14.

The boys cross country team will also compete at state on Oct. 31.
