The girls’ tennis team played at Garden City on Sept. 27, competing against Garden City, Liberal, Pratt, Dodge City, Great Bend, Wichita West, Scott City, Colby, Cimarron, Ulysses and Meade.

The team came in third place overall out of all 12 teams with a total of 36 team points.

Junior Brooke Forinash played number one singles and went 4-2 and secured fourth place.

Playing number two singles was freshman Sarah Wyse. She also went 4-2 and came in fourth place.

The number one doubles team consisted of junior Fabiola Pyschny and senior Emily McPherson. They posted a 4-2 mark and secured fourth place.

The number two doubles team of junior Sylina Zhang and freshman Gabriela also made a 4-2 mark and came in fourth place overall.

Everyone placed fourth individually and secured third place for the team.
