The Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) club at Hays High School had a planned blood drive on Feb. 18 in Gym B, but due to the snow day on that Tuesday, the blood drive has been rescheduled for Friday, May 9.
For the blood drive, club members had to sign up to either help work the drive or help people sign up to give blood. To help people sign up to give blood, club members sat in front of the cafeteria during lunch hours to advertise the blood drive.
“Our blood drives help give the community a common cause to come together and help save lives,” senior HOSA president Kolynn Denning said.
