With construction of the new school still continuing, faculty and staff members from Hays High School have had opportunities to tour the building to see how it is going to be.
Starting in the fall of 2024 the teachers were gradually introduced into the building process and were taken on tours. The admin wanted to show the teachers the progress on the new school and the steps they are taking to finish it up. The size of the new building impressed people because it is a lot bigger then the new high school already.
“It’s big!” social science teacher Matt Brooks said. “The space is going to be really beneficial, and it looks like this school is built with educational advancements in mind. If I could change one thing, I’d have it named after me.”
