Student Council holds Homecoming decorating in library
Student Council held a Homecoming decorating lock-in on Thursday, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. in the Hays High School library
Since the theme for Homecoming this year was “Enchanted Forest,” the decorating included a lot of natural elements, such as butterflies, animals, trees, leaves and flowers.
Everyone from all grades came together to decorate for the dance. Committees were formed to make sure everyone got a chance to help, as well as to increase productivity.
“We put a lot of hard work into decorating for Homecoming that you can’t see unless you come to the lock-in event,” junior Olivia Pince said. “It’s important to come to the lock-ins and participate so Homecoming looks good and not lame.”
