Students with a 3.0 or higher GPA invited to Breakfast for Champions

On Wednesday, March 23, students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher were invited to Breakfast for Champions.

Breakfast for Champions, or “Breakfast for Champs,” is a breakfast that is held in the cafeteria during first period for students on the Honor Roll. Academic Booster Club and parents organize it as a way to reward students for their academic achievements.

Students were dismissed by grade (seniors to freshmen) to receive their food.

Breakfast pizza, cinnamon rolls, fruit, milk and fruit juice were offered to students.

“Breakfast for Champs is a nice way of being rewarded,” junior Cade Becker said. “I enjoy the short little snack, but it seemed somewhat underwhelming because, at middle school, we usually got a lot more.”
