Counselors explain Next-Gen to Grades 10-12
On Monday, Oct. 11, the counselors met with the sophomores, juniors and seniors in the Lecture Hall to have a brief discussion about the Next-Gen virtual career fair.
Sophomores met at 11:05 a.m., juniors at 11:15 a.m. and finally seniors at 11:25 a.m.
The Next-Gen virtual career fair is where students can explore various professions. Students can also attend multiple sessions throughout the day, as well as sign up for individual sessions that intrigue them.
“Camp Biz” will be held on Nov. 3 and will explore career paths like graphic design, media, finance, cosmetology, education, law enforcement and others.
On Nov. 10, “Camp Med” will take place. It will dive into professions such as pharmacy, chiropractic, EMS, nursing, optometry, physical therapy and more.
Finally, on Nov. 17, “Camp Tech” will happen. It will cover careers like telecommunications, diesel tech, machinists, precision agriculture, welding and others.
