Students claim prizes during the 2019 Easter Egg Hunt. StuCo did not host an Easter Egg Hunt last year due to COVID, but will host one this year on March 19.

Student Council will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt during Pride Time on March 19.

Tickets are $3 and will be sold outside the cafeteria during lunch, starting on March 16. Students can also purchase tickets on the day of the hunt. To participate, students must bring their ticket to the egg hunt.

Prizes include snowball coupons, gift cards, speakers, candy, LED lights and a wireless charging pad. Students can also win an early release pass, which would allow them to leave class at 2:50 on March 19, giving them a head start out of the parking lot.

The eggs will contain slips of papers, letting students know which prize they have won which they can then redeem at the designated “prize” table.

Weather permitting, the event will take place outside. However, indoor alternatives will be arranged if the weather does not cooperate.

“It’s a fun way to spend PRIDE Time and get cool prizes,” StuCo secretary Audrey Rymer said. “With COVID, we haven’t been able to have a lot of events. You can just come out with your friends and have a good time.”
