Tribe Broadcasting team wins awards from Kansas Association of Broadcasters
The Tribe Broadcasting team recently received awards from the Kansas Association of Broadcasters.
In the contest, a student can choose to submit an individual or a group project.
Sophomore Grant Tesluk was a student who won a second-place group award in the Entertainment Program section of the competition.
“I wasn’t the one who submitted our podcast, but I was the one who came up with the podcast idea,” Tesluk said. “One of the people I was filming the podcast with was the one who actually submitted it. I didn’t know it had been submitted until a while after the submission date.”
Tesluk said he did not expect to do so well in the contest.
“I’m surprised that we actually placed,” Tesluk said. “I’m really happy about it.”
Tesluk said he was proud of how all of the Tribe Broadcasting team placed.
