Instructor provides career exploration opportunities for students
Drama Club and Forensics instructor Codi Fenwick provides career exploration opportunities to students.
Preparing for the semester, Forensics and Drama Club instructor Codi Fenwick scheduled field trips for her students.
The first field trip Fenwick set up is “Barefoot in the Park” at Fort Hays State University Theatre Department. The trip took place at 7 p.m. on Feb. 28.
The Fort Hays theatre director lead and answered questions.
The following opportunity is “Your Alien.” The event consists of a backstage question and answer section with the crew and manager of the Arts Power Theatre Company on March 1.
Fenwick provides the opportunity to shadow a forensics competitor at Ellis High School on March 2.
“The field trips are for the purpose of community connections and gives kids the opportunity to explore careers,” Fenwick said. “They get the chance to make potential networks in the community now.”
