FFA officers ready for trip to Manhattan

The FFA officers all got up early on Nov. 18 to head to Manhattan for a K-State football game. The tickets were bought for the officers by the parents of senior and FFA president Dusty Schneider.

The six students who included senior Dusty Schneider, juniors Connor Olson and Jessica Straight, and sophomores Colton Vajnar, Ashton Ottley and Quentin Rupp all rode down together.

The students along with instructor Curt Vajnar tailgated for four hours before the game started. Kansas State was playing Iowa State for their last home game of the season.

“My favorite part was when K-state won,” junior Jessica Straight said. “I played cornhole, ate some good food, and took a nap. I had lots of fun just being surrounded by my team. It was a nice experience.”
