Scholars Bowl takes first at Wichita West competition

For the first time in school history, the Scholars Bowl team won first place at the Wichita West competition.
The Scholars Bowl team is made up of a mix of students from freshmen to seniors. The team roster is as follows.
Seniors Eric Adams, Brendan Chapman, Analyse Claude, Blade Goering, Lacey Gregory and Mark Shuckman
Juniors Kaleigh Ashbaugh, Joanna Carrillo, Brittani Park, Isaiah Schindler and Spencer Wittkorn
Sophomores Levi Hickert and Emily Huff
Freshmen Andrew Duke, Alicia Feyerherm and Callie Raacke
The Scholars Bowl team has had a promising start and has a bright outlook for the future, said senior Brendan Chapman.
“Hopefully at our other Wichita meet we can get a similar result” Chapman said. “I think this is the best I’ve seen and felt about our team.”

Congratulations to a great team. I remember so many of these students from our middle school teams in past years. This is a very intelligent group and I have faith in them, that they will go far. I see much celebration in more wins this season.
