HHITA wins Kansas High Plains Electro Rally
The awards given out to the winners of the Electro Rally
Hays High Industrial Tech Association takes first overall at the Kansas High Plains Electro Rally on Sept. 28.
Teams at the Electro Rally race electric cars around a track for an hour. Teams are scored on how many laps are completed within the hour.
HHITA took first in the Standard Class race with 64 laps. 10 more laps than second place, Great Bend.
The team also took first in the Solar Class race with 59 laps with Scott city coming in second with 52 laps.
