Students reinstate the “Wall of Boom”

The “Wall of Boom” was created three years ago to promote school spirit at the basketball games. This year seniors Hannah Unrein and Angel Bryant are working to start up the “Wall of Boom” once again to get students excited about this year’s basketball season.

“We participated in the ‘Wall of Boom’ as freshman and it was a lot of fun so we wanted to bring it back,” Unrein said. “The basketball student section was becoming really excited again so we thought it was a good idea.”

Bryant feels this year’s “Wall of Boom” will be just as good as the one three years ago.

“We have a lot of people cheering at the games, getting really pumped,” Bryant said.

Bryant and Unrein feel the “Wall of Boom” will unify the student section.

“We want everyone to try to be as loud as we were our freshman year,” Unrein said.

Bryant and Unrein have started selling “Wall of Boom” shirts for students to wear during games to get everyone excited.

“There will still be theme nights for the games, we just thought the shirts would be cool too,” Bryant said. “The t-shirts aren’t through the school though, but we are not making a profit off of it.”
