KMEA District Orchestra roster

Auditions for the northwest KMEA District Orchestra were held at HHS on Nov. 5. Students from all over the district came to audition.

A select few were chosen to play in the performance that will take place at Beach Schmidt on Dec. 10 along with the District Band and Choir.

The KMEA District roster consists of:

Jordyn Dake is a senior at Hays High and this is her second year with the Guidon. This year, she will be serving as Online Editor. She is involved with the fall musical, and will be auditioning for spring play. She enjoys reading, writing, listening to music, and watching movies in her free time. After high school, she plans on being involved in the arts and would like to someday travel the world.

Anniston Weber, Co-Editor in Chief
Anniston Weber is Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Guidon and a senior this year. She has been involved with the Guidon for three years. In addition to being a member of the newspaper staff, she is in Chamber Singers, Webteam, Forensics, Spring Play, and Musical. Anniston has a small obsession with turtles, and also enjoys bad puns, pugs and milkshakes.
