Students discuss importance of breakfast

There are many habits people develop throughout their lives. Some examples of different kinds of habits are sleeping habits, procrastination habits, and eating habits.

Some people have eating habits where they eat too much, some skip meals all together.

Junior Tiana Lawson does not eat breakfast because it makes her feel sick.

“I always feel really sick in the mornings, so I don’t eat because that makes me feel worse,” Lawson said. “I know it’s important and I probably should eat, but that doesn’t make me want to.”

Junior Hannah Norris does not feel she has the time to eat breakfast.

“I usually am not hungry in the morning,” Norris said. “I don’t think breakfast is particularly important. It’s just more food and doesn’t really matter. I have a very sporadic eating schedule.”

Sophomore Kara Gabel does not eat breakfast because it is not something she thinks about in the morning.

Senior Kinsey Ackerman feels if she does not eat breakfast, she does not have enough energy to focus in class.

“I can’t function unless I have food in my system,” Ackerman said.

Sophomore Chloe Prescott does not usually eat breakfast.

“I get sick if I eat breakfast most of time,” Prescott said. “If I do eat breakfast, it is usually McDonalds.”

Sophomore Riley Spears makes sure to eat breakfast all the time.

“Michelle Obama thinks it’s important, so I think it’s important,” Spears said.
