Annual blood drive held Nov. 10th
This year, the annual blood drive put on by Hays High will be held on Nov. 10th in gym B.
School Nurse Misty Garrison is helping run the blood drive with Student Counsil this year.
“This year for the blood drive we are competing with Garden City to see who can get the most people and the most pints of blood donated,” Garrison said.
Previous StuCo adviser Lisa Renz says the blood drive has been going on for at least 17 years.
“I have been working at Hays High for 17 years now, and the blood drive has been going on every year I’ve been here,” Renz said.
