New group added to Hays High
There are many clubs and student organizations at Hays High, and this Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. a Life Group will be joining.
The Life Group is being run by Celebration Community Church Crosscurrent Ministry Students.
The group will be meeting in Spanish instructor Laura Gallegos-Haynes room, 117b.
“We’re calling the group ‘Life Group’ because we want to do more than just pray together,” junior Sierra Eichman said.
In the group, students will pray, have devotion time and pray together.
The Crosscurrent students got the idea for this group while at a conference called ‘Desperation’ at New Life Church in Colorado this summer.
“The conference talked about being campus pastors, and that really got us thinking of ways we could be pastors here at school,” junior MaKenzie Giess said. “The Life Group seemed like a great way to do that.”
