Ennio Emmanuel performs concert for spanish students
Last Wednesday singer Ennio Emmanuel sang for Spanish classes at 12th Street Auditorium.
Next year is Emmanuel’s last year to perform for schools.
“I thought it was fun and a good learning experience,” Sophomore Cassandra Quimby said. “He made people repeat words in Spanish and taught us new words. He also taught us about the culture through instruments.”
Quinby is sad Emmanuel is not performing for schools much longer, but she knows he’s expanding his career and moving on to bigger things.
“I’ve been to one of his concerts before, and I really enjoy them,” Freshman Esperanza Palmer said. “ I’m upset he won’t be doing concerts for school after next year, he’s really good and he helps people know more Spanish.”
Sophomore Payton Markely liked the songs and feels hearing the songs in Spanish helped her learn better.
