The 2016 Spring Play is “You Can’t Take It With You” by Moss Hart and George Kaufman.

Rehearsals for Spring Play have been ongoing since the second week back from Holiday break. Memorization and blocking the scenes are key points to the current rehearsals.

First year member of Spring Play, junior Kristen Nease said she is excited to see the rehearsals all come together.

“I like being here overall,” Nease said. “It’s different and having a smaller cast than musical is nice. It makes it easier to connect with everyone.”

Senior Michael Ploutz is also participating in Spring Play for the first time this year. He will be playing the part of Ed.

“It’s a lot of fun,” Ploutz said. “My favorite part is the snacks or the funny moments on stage.”

Senior Ben Sadler has been involved with Spring Play for two years.

“Last year I was a directors assistant,” Sadler said. “But this year I play the part of Mr. Kirby. Spring Play is really nice for everyone to get to know each other.”
