Fall Music Concert recap (video)
Students who participated in the Fall Music Concert on Thursday, Oct. 22 watched Orchestra, Concert Choir, Full Chord Press and Chamber Singers perform.
Some students, like senior Courtney Ellis, feel bittersweet about the first concert coming to a close.
“I am in Orchestra, Chamber Singers and Concert Choir,” Ellis said. “I always enjoy the concerts, they’re a great way to show off our school’s musical talent.”
Senior Michaela VonLintel said she enjoyed the pop songs performed by the Chamber Singers most of all.
“’Uptown Funk’ is definitely my favorite song from the performance,” VonLintel said. “I am always excited for the concerts.”
Sophomore Logan Clark and junior Cooper Flores said they favored alumnus Max Befort’s piece “Arise and Go Forth”.
“The concert went really well,” Clark said. “Max’s song was so powerful and it was great to get to perform it with the Chamber Singers as well as Concert Choir.”
Flores said he enjoyed watching his fellow classmates perform with him.
“Concerts bring people together,” Flores said. “Everyone works so hard to learn the pieces and perform them well.”
Junior Hayden Sillmon said his favorite piece was “Thou Shalt Know Him” performed by the Chamber Singers.
“I always look forward to more concerts,” Sillmon said. “They are a lot of work, but in the end I think it’s all worth it.”

Absolutely a wonderful concert and the voices are out of this world. I truly enjoyed the videos I received.
Loved the girl’s gowns too. 🙂
