The Creative Writing Club provides an opportunity to meet with other writers and work on stories or get ideas for stories.

“It’s a fun club and I really enjoy it,” vice president Korryn Asuncion said.

The club meets every other Tuesday. At the beginning of each meeting, club members write 10-minute story prompts. After that, they will share their 10-minute stories and then will either do activities such as story cards or ask for ideas or help on their main stories.

“This club is a good experience if you want to write,” president Keenan Rohlf said.

Members are expected to be original and creative with their stories ideas and are expected to make some progress on their stories before every meeting.

“I like the club because it’s a good way to express your creativity,” junior Aaron Goodman said.

The club is always accepting new creative writers who are looking to join. Currently, there are about 20 members.

“I’ve been writing for years.” junior Garrett Page said. “And now that there’s a bunch of other writers gathering all around who are decent people, I couldn’t say no.”
